Initial appointment takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes where we go through a complete detailed intake to assess your constitution. A unique modality where body is being treated as a whole. The treatment begins with a quick sound healing therapy to tune and relax your mind and body. Followed by a body acupuncture to relax the mind, balance hormones, diffuse any digestive discomfort and improve blood circulation and flow. The selection of points are based on someone's unique constitution. Then an acupuncture treatment is performed on the face to bring focus to the areas of concern, very fine Japanese needles are inserted on the motor points for facial muscles to improve muscle tone, sedating muscles that we might be overusing that cause skin concerns such as frown lines, crow's feet. Once the needles are in place, the LED Light therapy is applied to amplify and assist in the microcirculation of the tissue and enhanced collagen production. Followed by a Jade roller and GuaSha massage to sculpt facial muscles, increase circulation, drain lymph nodes, reduce puffiness and relax facial tension. This treatment also includes a facial mask and a 10 minute head tuina (acupressure) Facial Renewal Acupuncture is an organic approach that is cumulative in nature.
